I am incolonial beach often to check the boat. That may be right for cost but very shallow up that way. Housing cost are going way up. I like the place. Dock side resteraunt very good food, had live music durring the weekend, but season may be over by now. If you need other info, just let me know.

Yes, the damage was from Isabel ...most likely...although Ernesto also damaged some areas. The could well be correct for the slip rent. We paid that amount recently at another very basic marina.

With all these Chesapeaker's we should be able to have a big raftup at some mid point in the spring, say at Solomon's. All the lower and upper Chesapeake board members could make it that far I would hope.

Yellowbird location?

Hey Yellowbird,
I recall seeing a Yellowbird on the hard at Casa Rio Marina up Cadle Creek just off the West a few years back - that you? I am on the west side of the West River, just inside the mouth, up Parrish Creek.

Which marina are you in, our boat is in Woods Wharf. On the left as you go toward and just before Clarks Landing

Marina

Leatherbury Point; I think just before Woods Wharf. Wasn't sure there was a marina named Woods Wharf; I just figured Billy Joe rented out a few slips in front of his house!

And I am directly in front of his house, I wasn't sure about the name Woods Wharf until not too long ago. Billy's mother told me I could make the check out to that if I wanted to.
I should be around the boat this weekend, I haven't done all my winterizing and must finish. If your around come on by and say hello, I am sure you can find the boat. I may need to go warm up at the Snug Harbor Inn.

Yellow Bird is the same you saw in Casa Rio, yup.

After two and a half years of getting deferred maintenance taken care some fiberglass work done on the stern and refitting, and....oh well, you know.

She sails like she should now and she is being good to me. I was pleasantly surprised with her speed and comfort.

I am at Holiday Hill.

It sounds like we are neighbor's of sorts.

Yep that was the purchase. Yellow Bird was at Casa Rio, I launched her last spring after 2 yrs of work on her, not done yet it seems I keep finding things I want to fix or add. I guess I am addicted to being a boatfixeruppermanm, (by virtue of Yellow Bird)

Sounds like a good Idea. I was in Solomon for a few days early Sept. "Captain's Table" restaurant became a favorite stop.
