Hello People
Hey guys and ladies. New to the forum. I live aboard a 30 Pearson around Tampa, mostly wonder about and spend the majority of my time sailing and running from the conventional life and lifestyle. Pumped to get to know you all, there seems to be a wealth of knowledge and great folks around here. Cheers my friends and sail on, always sail on.

welcome Toosail
Welcome to the group Toosail and congratulations on your success at dodging the conventional life, at least recently.
I'd like to hear any thoughts and observations that you might have on your P30 as a liveaboard. I'm restoring a P28-1 for use as an East Coast cruiser/liveaboard boat and P28-1's and P30's are very similar in most respects so your experiences will probably be relevant. I'm probably too far along to abandon the project though so don't go too far with the criticisms!
Take Care,
Jonathan

Welcome, Toosail! We sometimes sail as far up the west coat of Florida as Tarpon Springs, but just to the Keys now and back up the east coast. 'see you on the water!

Hey jonathan, the persons alright, its pretty much like any boat under 40 foot, a bit cramped but hey isn't that one of the perks of living aboard. Keep the work going on the 28 it will be a fine boat for a single or couple to live in. Although I currently have a pearson, I'm not a huge fan of its sailing abilities and will soon try to upgrade to a more suitable bluewater boat, not sure what kind yet. I guess we will have to see. I would like to get an older boat that I can do more interior carpentry work.
