Boat: Formosa 41 CT Garden Ketch. Wind Rose Hull #282. i am looking for her!
Hello! I Am New!

Hi all!!
I am Mallory, and I am an aspiring sailor!!
My father had two sail boats while I was growing up. The First was a Formosa 51' 1975 CT, Garden Ketch Design with a fiber glass hull. the Name was "PISCEAN" let me know if any of you have seen her. i know she was last for sail in the Mediterranean about 3 or 4 years ago!
And the Second was a Formosa 41' CT Garden Ketch Design also with a fiber glass hull. The name was WIND ROSE, formerly ROSALIA. It was sold three years ago up here in the Puget Sound.
My dream is to sail and to buy my dads last boat back. It was a highly modified boat. the boom was lengthened to do better in light air and it had a sunken in cock pit. From what I hear there are only three like that in the world.
The cabin had also been lifted and portholes were put in place of the 70s widows.
It had been fitted to withstand even the harshest weather the arctic could through at it!!
Getting WIND ROSE back is my dream!
ARE THERE ANY FORMOSA OWNERS OUT THERE ON THE FORUM??
Any way that's me!

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF Rose.
That sounds like quite a special boat. Hope you're able to reacquire her.

Aloha Find,
Welcome aboard! I used to have a Bill Garden designed Mariner 35 which is a little version of what you are looking for. I can understand why you want to find Wind Rose.
Good luck and kind regards,
