Hello All,

I'm excited to join Cruisers Forum. I've really enjoyed reading the variety of posts. So much knowledge, great advice, and encouraging words.

My wife and I are retiring this year and plan to bareboat charter a couple times a year for many years to come. I've sailed since my teens but we've just started cruising the last couple years.

We sailed a week in the BVI this last November and had a great time. Our next adventure is a trip along the coast of Maine. We've just now started to do some research. We'd appreciate any information or advice you can pass along in the areas of cruising guides, charter companies, anchorages, good marinas, and good onshore day trips.
