I am about to become an owner, sailor, repairer, and full-time liveaboard cruiser of a beautifully aging catamaran here in Trinidad and Tobago. I've been a lurker on CF for some time now, and look forward to contributing to the community.
Plan number one: make the interior reasonably comfortable, and make the top seaworthy - both plans currently underway. Once the season changes, head North with no time limit!

Cheers!
Congratulations!

A house is but a boat so poorly built and so firmly run aground no one would think to try and refloat it.
Congratulations!

I don't believe so - the boat was owned by the previous owner from the early 90's until now. My understanding is that sale also took place in Trinidad.
(boat name is "Foreigner" - it did have a name change - I couldn't be sure precisely when).
