Hello from Switzerland

New member here, saying "hi", and happy to be here!

Currently boatless, but searching for the perfect (ha ha, I know, I know, it doesn't exist) yacht for transatlantic and (perhaps) transpacific adventures in early retirement with my wife.

Been a lurker on this forum for a while before registering, and have found so many great tips and advice for a life on the sea from the huge number of very experienced folks here. Hope to contribute in my small way, too.

Ade.

Re: Hello from Switzerland

Hi Ade,

Welcome.

You will sure find the dream boat and easily so - the boat market is over-saturated with boats and there is something for every one. Task level: easy.

You sure have that big lovely lake in Switz, eh? It looks deep enough so that you can sail any boat there. Lucky you! Sail in the morning, ski in the afternoon. Envy ;-)

Have a fine weekend!

Re: Hello from Switzerland

I was on business in Switzerland years ago, hung out at the yacht club and was invited to crew for a race on the Zurichsee. Great time, cold water.

See you in the eastern Caribbean perhaps. Say hi to Roxy if you see us.
