Hello from South Louisiana
10 miles from Vermilion Bay, had small powerboats all my life.
Retiring in 1yr or so, joined to do research on 40+ feet sailboats and the care and feeding requirements of same with the hopes of purchase later.

Hey Bill!

Welcome. I like the "care and feeding of..." reference. You already intuitively understand that our boats are a member of our family true and simple.
