Hello From SF

Hi All,

I'm a 25 year old to-be grad student at Berkeley and have a couple months before I head into the library for a year. I am really hoping to get out on the water and learn/help sail a boat. I’m not picky on destination or length of trip (available November and December) but would like someone who doesn’t have a problem teaching.

I’ve done a few day sails in the Puget Sound and San Francisco Bay but would like to get some extended overnight/week-long trips in with someone who could use an able hand. PM me if you have any availability, questions, or advice.

Thanks!

JP

Re: Hello From SF

Welcome JP. Maybe walk the docks at Berkeley Marina or Yacht club and ask around.

Aloha and welcome aboard!
Good to have you here.
Celestial's suggestion is a good one. See if they have a club where you can leave information for anyone who needs crew.
kind regards,

I sail with club Nautique. They have a google group where folks are looking for crew. Plus excellent instructors and locations in Alameda and Sausalito (which I prefer). Good luck and Go Bears! (I'm class if '92)
