Icebergs, whales and outports etc. What more could you want? how about a berth on a wharf here from as little as $100 dollars a year!.

If you want to know more, just ask!
Hi Guys. Good to hear from you, I have family in St Johns. Trish and I flew over a few years ago and drove from St Johns to Cape Breton, fantastic country, and thats the reason we are heading that way. We have been planning for this for 5 years and If all goes well, we will start making our way over next year, but we may stop in Norway for a wee while.

Heres a wee painting I did of Port Aux Basque:-

Thanks for the welcome

For some reason, I've always wanted to sail the west coast of Scotland. It's like something is drawing me to that area, can't quite put my finger on it...
Hi Argyle, thanks for the welcome, the west coast of Scotland is spectacular, you could spend years exploring it, maybe its the whisky thats drawing you to it...
But as stevensuf said, a good heating system and warm clothing, our last few summers have been a bit of a wash out, but if you hang around long enough you will be rewarded.
My wife has written a few wee stories about the west coast sailing, link to them below.

Hi

Yeah should still be around. Got sulaire back in and all is well, starting to move aboard next week or so

Watch out for those pirates! ( or drifting cruise ships!)

Walked by orla yesterday, she is sitting pretty as always!
