Hello from Pickering, Ontario

I just registared, but I must say that I have been following for at least a year or more and I have learnt alot, and I am glued to this forum, my problem is that I dont like to read books, but I read everything I can on this website and sailblogs and other sailing websites.

alot of you recommend books and great ones at that, but I just cant seam to grab one and read the whole thing, my better half is a reader and the web does not do it for here.

I have not bought a crusing boat yet, but I look everyday (on the web for one). I did buy a boat slip here in pickering that I own and it can hold a 50 foot by 16 foot boat (real cool concept). That is what will hold me to my dream I hope.

I just have to be able to pick up a book and read it, and I have to learn to spell as well

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, Tack Off.

Where, in Pickering, did you BUY a boat-slip?

Frenchmans Bay at the very end of Liverpool road is where I bought my boat slip,

looking forward for the city to be opening the channel soon to 120 feet wide and 14 feet deep, the depth of the water at my slip right now is 7.5 feet, which will be fine for what I need it for.

I do have a smaller powerboat that I could use there, but I am saving this spot for something in around 40 feet with a mast
