Hello from Phoenix AZ

Hello folks;

I've been a user of this forum for quite some time but never posted myself. I'm a fairly new owner of a 79 Oday 23. Recently finished a series of rigging and sailing lessons and now just logging in as many hrs that I can to gain experience.

Wife and I also recently purchased our future retirment home in Florida and are looking forward to doing some wandering of our own with a larger boat once we're resettled. Islands & US coastal cruising mainly.

We will be in the Key West area early this May for a few days and would love to have the opportunity to chat with anyone in the area over lunch or a beer or three.

Re: Hello from Phoenix AZ

Aloha and welcome aboard!
My first boat was about the same size as yours and it was a great learning platform. Because of its size and ease of handling I was sailing a lot more than the larger boats in our marina.
kind regards,

Re: Hello from Phoenix AZ

Welcome aboard. My first boat was way smaller than that. Had to be able to hide it from the dinosaurs. TIC lol
