I am new to sailing and my boyfriend has experience. He hasn't had the opportunity to sail in a few years, but has now purchased a 29 foot Bayfield. He purchased it in
Florida last
winter so he was able to spend a few weeks down there, and sailed from northern
Florida to the Keys. I joined him a couple times and loved it! We are heading to Florida in a couple weeks. The
boat is dry docked in Tavernier in the Keys. We will be down there for 3 weeks and are planning to sail to the
Dry Tortugas and
Key West.
Looking forward to the adventure, and I keep saying I can only hope my employer will start offering year long sabbaticals as I will be the first to sign up, and have the opportunity to be a cruiser!!
Looking forwad to
learning lots from this site, and will begin looking for some info on sailing the Keys!
