I'm not at all new to sailing or navigation, but I certainly AM new to all the various aspects of owning and maintaining a bluewater sailing vessel.

I'm still coming to grips with what's involved. I specifically bought a bought that was sail ready but could use a half dozen do-able projects when time allows.

I did this to force myself to learn these skills while coastal cruising before I step up for my lap.

It's a love hate relationship to be honest. The only thing better than completing your projects successfully is the sailing.
