Hello from New Hampshire, USA

Hi,

My name is Brian and I am 28 years old. My wife Stephanie and I are planning to go cruising starting in 2012. We found and purchased a Westsail 32 this summer! We're very excited about planning for the trip. I've been a lurker on here for a while and there is so much fantastic information!

Is it "Christopher Robin" by chance? If it is the boat has a great history you should get to know.

I don't think the boat is "Christopher Robin", it currently named "Sphinx", but we are planning on changing the name to RodeTrip when we relaunch in the spring. I am currently trying to join the Westsail Owner Association where I may get some additional information about the boats history. The details from before the previous owner are a little fuzzy.

Christopher Robin was owned by Max Fletcher, who sailed it non-stop from New Zealand round the horn to the Falklands. We heard she had changed hands recently so I was curious if it was yours.

Anyway, enjoy the boat. It can take you anywhere you dream of going.

Hmmm - Amesbury, MA?

Welcome to the sanity. I'm a native Cow Hampshireite from rural Tilton. Good to see another Yankee on the site.

Another New Hampshire-ite. I live in Keene, but keep my boat up in mid-coast Maine...

NH as well. Transplant to the FL Keys. People love coming up to the boat that has homeport Manchester NH on the back and striking up a conversation.

Cheers,

We sailed our boat down from CT to Jax Beach last year. The Marina that we are presently at had a Westsail rondavoue (sp). I believe they plan on this each year, so if you are in the area next summer maybe we will see you here. Beach Marine on the ICW at Jax Beach is the marina.

Welcome aboard and Good Luck
