Hello from myself and new boat, Mystic
I've been lurking and replying some here and there for a while now, but Friday I finally brought home my second Cal sailboat, Mystic. She's a 1982 Cal 31, I'm 4th owner, and she's immaculately maintained, a 6 inch thick notebook of every oil change, modification, maintenance, etc. with receipts and manuals for everything. She is all that i had hoped to turn my 2800 dollar Cal 29 into, but this one is turn key. Heat, AC, set up for single handed sailing, can live aboard, etc. she's ready to go. Docked at the Washington Yacht and Country club near Washington, NC.

Lol yes I am, both a drummer and born in 79. My "pride and joy" drum set is the set I learned on from my late stepfather, a 6 piece set of chrome lined Slingerlands from the late 60's or early 70s, as best as my research can tell me anyway. My other set, that honestly tunes way easier, is my early 2000s set of Pearl Session customs in cherry red. I have no illusions of keeping either set on board lol.

Welcome.
Good choice, I'm a Cal man myself.

And, with that boat name, are you also a Van Morrison fan?
p.s. welcome!
