Hi my wife and i recently purchased , well 6 months ago a 1980 27ft Watkins. This was most certainly a project boat which we were looking for as retirement is near and Bahamas bound we will be. Thus far we have entirely rebuilt the deck and cabin top. Pulled the engine for rebuild amid 100’s of other projects including fabricating new bulkheads as they were non existant. This is what we wanted and new it would be a challenge to pull off but it’s sll coming together. We look forward to making many new friends on here and hopefully meeting some of you in what ever port o call we may land
