So, my spouse and I have become struck with desire to be on the
water in a liveabord and certainly need a dose of reality from those with experience. For some years we have been splashing around on a small powerboat but want to
trade that life for
sails. We are in our 30’s, both
work full time, no
kids and not
retirement ready, so we will stay local and keep working.
We think we can help the expenses by chartering part time in the afternoons for sunset
sails. We have our eye on Lagoons.
Also, I am a drone videographer, an amateur, but am making a small side business out of it. So I may drop links at the bottom of my posts. I will not spam anyone.
We are in
Miami, hurricanes are a real threat, and we no nothing of
Insurance policies for this. We did scout out Dinner Key by drone and saw many
boats at
dock,
mooring, and on the hook.
Anyway, I hope to learn a lot from you and hope for great feedback.
