Hello From Memphis
We are new to this forum and want to introduce ourselves. We are a proud owner of a 2005 Beneteau 373 "Buenos Aires" at Grand Rivers on Kentucky Lake. We are empty nesters and are looking forward to a new phase in our life. We can't wait for the season to start in 2013.

Welcome to CF Rob and Lisa.
Which marina is your boat in? I live in Clarksville, TN. I'm still working on my boat to get ready to put in the water but I already have a slip reserved in Green Turtle Bay Marina. I'm looking forward to getting out on the water. Maybe we'll run into each other along the way.
Congrats on the boat.

Welcome! We are from Clarksville and are at Lighthouse Landing and are starting our 16th season next year! Check out Kentucky Lake Sailing Club this spring. Kentucky Lake is a great sailing lake and Grand Rivers is a fun place.

Nice to see I'm not the only one around here in Clarksville.
I've heard good things about sailing in Kentucky Lake. When I was looking for a slip, I was told Lighthouse Landing didn't have space so I went with GTBM on the other side. The area is very nice and quiet.

Looking forward to meeting you this spring. Our boat is on Pier 2, slip 36, Persistence. I am treasurer of KLSC. Glad to have you on board and hope you will become an active member of KLSC. It adds a lot to your experience at Kentucky Lake. Be sure to check out our calendar, especially the spring Cruisers and Racers seminar. This kind of kick starts the year and is a good time to meet fellow sailors.
See you at the lake.

Re: Hello From Memphis
Aloha and welcome aboard!
Good to have you posting on the forum.
The wife and I stopped in at your area while visiting Paducah and on our way to Lexington, KY.
Nice area. We were there at the end of the season but still saw lots of boats.
kind regards,
