Hello from Mandeville, LA

Just saying "HI" from southern Louisiana. I have NEVER sailed on my own but have chartered one and owned motor boats. I love the water and want to sail to other ports of call one day. Looking at used sailboats and trying to convince the wife. My favorite show is Distant Shores on the Wealth Channel. I set my DVR so I never miss a show. My first destination will be the Keys then Bahamas. One day making it to Hong Kong. Why Hong Kong you may ask? My wife is from Hong Kong and wants to live there again for a short time. Anyone living near New Orleans and interested in teaching an USMC disabled vet how to sail, I'm willing to compensate you. I'm retired and have free time to jump into sailing with both feet.

Really like the Hunter 42 Passage. Any negatives about this boat?

sail EVERYTHING and in ALL conditions before you make up your mind. you may or may not like the boat. whatever you LIKE is what you should buy.

Welcome! Our boat is in NO, but you don't want lessons from me. (Trust me on this one!) Maybe I'll pass you when I sail to Madisonville in a couple of weeks.
