Hello from downunder

Like to say hello to all I love this forum and have it on my phone and check in all the time to check out new threads, looking for a good blue water boat, for home and adventure, nice to meet you all and thank you for so much valuable info

hey mate , welcome along. There are quite a few of us Aussies hanging around here. So there is always someone ready to impart local knowledge as well if needed. what sort of boat are you looking for?

Welcome to the forum from another aussie. It's mostly a friendly place here

Where will you be doing your sailing? I'm moving up to Sydney from Melbourne next month to enjoy some winter sailing out on the harbour.

Best of luck with the boat search.

The harbour is awsome in winter!! No traffic and gentle sou-easters. Love it

Hey Jacko, I did twelve month on sail trainer ship "South Passage" and have anchored off Lizard and snorkeled in bay could not believe how many giant clams there are just beautiful

Fair enough, mate. The better half and I have successfully handled our Mason 53 for over a decade now without any difficulties. Don't rule out looking at larger yachts, provided they are set up with the proper gear. All the best with the search. Cheers.
