Hello, Gulet, and welcome to Cruisers Forum. Hope you can put up some photos of your cruising area. I've heard the Croatian coast is beautiful.

Welcome Gulet...how about sharing some pictures of some of those classic boats from your area?

Thank you all for nice greetings. Here are some photos of Croatian Adriatic coast and places where all sailors should pass

We were in Dubrovnik a couple of weeks ago - a beautiful town, which is all the more amazing after the bomb damage in 91-92. Welcome to the board.

Can you believe me, I live here for 24 years and I have never been in Dubrovnik although I have explored almost complete coast and underwater area. I really need to plan my visit soon.

Dubrovnik has some very nice boats and facilities for boats. We were on a cruise on the Costa Victoria and primarily went to see the Greek islands and Athens. However, Dubrovnik would be the first place we would return to.

Welcome aboard! Someday I hope to visit the Adriatic. The closest I've been is Venice.
regards,

Croatia is fantastic sailing. We cruised Split - Hvar - Korcula -- Stary Grad and various anchorages in between a few years ago. Some of the most beautiful places I have ever seen.
The holding is difficult in most places -- make sure you have a good and big anchor. The marinas are excellent. You berth stern-to, but instead of using an anchor as in a typical mediterranean moor, there are buoys you can pick up.
