Hi Everyone, my wife and I are just about to
purchase a cruising
catamaran and spend the next 10 years or so of our lives cruising around
Australia and the
south Pacific.
While my wife Suzy is relatively new to sailing, I've been sailing dinghies and keelboats since I was 7 years old. I am, however, quite new to cruising cats with only a five day
charter on a
Seawind 1200 as master of the vessel.
Given our relative inexperience i look forward to chatting to you all and getting your
advice.
Suzy and I are also interested in sharing onboard experiences around the world. Rather than taking our cat to places around the world, we are interested in inviting other cruising cat owners to join us in
Australia where we can show the special places we have to
cruise and then joining you on your
boat to see your special cruising places. I'll put more info in another thread later when we are more established.
