Hello from Cape Town

Hi all - new to this forum. We will be taking delivery of our new home, a 38' Maxim Cat in September. This is a very exciting start to our new life adventure. We have been planning and wanting to do this for years!! We will move aboard in preperation to start cruising. Our daughters are 2 and 6, so moving aboard will be a challenge, but exciting.

Welcome aboard,
I have crewed with quite a few cruising families and the kids seem to benefit the most from the cruising life (smart, outgoing, independent, happy!!. There are some really great cruising/live aboard moms and dads right here on this forum with some great insights and ideas, so be sure to check out the Cruising with kids section.
Cheers,
Erika
