Cool Hello from Canada's East Coast

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Todd and I am new to this site been on here for about 2 months. Looking to make friends around the world as I plan on cruising and would love to meet up with people I meet online.

I alway here about other sailors dropping anchor to find a boat or people they met years ago, next to them. So maybe with a little luck we might develop a pen pale friendship and bump into each other in a lagoon somewhere in the tropics.....lol.

Please feel free to check out my profile and add me as a friend. I also have a profile on sailmonster.com, same profile name " waverider ".

Cheers and Looking forward to chating.

Todd, welcome aboard.

Nice to see another Mirage sailor in the forum. Which version of the 27 do you have?

Thumbs up Mirage Sailor

I have a 1981 Mirage 27 Robert Perry design. Love the boat, its a bit tender but once you know how to trim the sails the way she likes it. She is a great sailing boat.

What is your Mirage model?

Same as yours. Built '82, launched '83.

Great sailing boat, comfortable to cruise, and very pretty.

Cruising to the Bahamas in a Mirage 27

I am planning a cruise from Nova Scotia to the Bahamas in my Mirage 27. I have a leaving date of Aug 15, 2010. Should be a nice trip coastal cruising her all the way down there and doing the ditch with it.

We could always start a Mirage 27 convoy........lol.

Are you out of Port Credit,Connemarra?
