Hello from Cairns

Hey all, couple from Cairns here…
I used to live on a cruising yacht and was an active member some 15 years ago….
Since then, we’ll, let’s just say it’s been one hell of a ride.
With my new partner now, together 6 years, and with the cost of living spiralling we are seriously considering looking for a live aboard to call home.
Looking forward to meeting new people and becoming active in the scene again.

Re: Hello from Cairns

Howdy! I was born in Australia but I've only spent a total of about 4 months there. Last time I was there I spent a week in Cairns to see the rainforest and do some diving ... beautiful city.

Re: Hello from Cairns

Welcome.

I would suggest updating your profile with your general location and your boat make & model or “Looking” in the "Boat" category. This info shows up under your UserName in every post in the web view. Many questions are boat and/or location dependent and having these tidbits under your UserName saves answering those questions repeatedly. If you need help setting up your profile then click on this link: https://www.cruisersforum.com/forums...ml#post3308797

I would happily help more if the link above is not enough.

A house is but a boat so poorly built and so firmly run aground no one would think to try and refloat it.
