First post here. We sailed the BC coastal waters for 10+ years on our '84 Endurance 35. That was before kids. We now have two boys (10 & 12) who we want to introduce the lifestyle to. We are doing a complete refit of our Endurance, plan to sell her (unfortunately she's not big enough) and we are going offshore next year. Looking into boats, homeschooling etc. etc. etc.

Hi Susie,

I was just browsing and came across your post. Sounds like you have a great plan and the kids should love it. We are transplanted New Yorkers who bought our present boat up in Pender Harbour, BC and sailed it just across the border and are "marina'd up" fixing the boat. Our plans are Pender Harbour and Alaska this summer.
