Smile Hello From Along The St Lawrence River

Hello everone! I am a new member to this group, although I have been looking around for a couple of weeks now and I really like this community.

I live in a small village along the St Lawrence River and the Captain and I are the property of a boat cat named Shadow. Together we have our 25' Sunray named KnottybuoyzII.

Captain Rick is a Member of the Canadian Coast Guard and I am a Corporate Trainer for Nucomm International. This will be our 4th season with the present boat and the plan is that in 10 years or so when Rick retires we will cut our land ties and cruise south during the winter and up here in Northern waters for the summers. I can hardly wait!

I look forward to participating in some of the discussions here.

I know, CaptainK, the name was just too similar....it makes sense that behind every successful knottybuoyz there has to be a knottygirlz!

Welcome from the Wet West Coast

Welcome from the land of rain and... well.... more rain. I live in North Vancouver in Deep Cove located in the most southerly fjord in North America; and, in Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island which has the most elderly population in Canada. Qualicum Beach is the only place in North America where funerals is a sport. You have heard that when you hear the tinkle of bells, an angel gets its wings; here in Qualicum when you hear a siren, a realtor gets a listing.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! Now that's funny rsn48!!

Reminds of of Sun City, Arizona. We nicknamed it "Wrinkle City".

If anybody ever visits Arizona. And just happens to visit Sun City. Watch out for the golfcarts. These old farts drive them at 40 plus miles per hour. And they can kill you with them!!!

Also watch out for them while driving. Those golfcarts may not look strong enough. But, I have seen those damn things wreck cars!!!
