Hi Barry,

Mobile. So that means you're from LA.

Welcome to the forum. I'm hoping to start my extended cruising about the same time.

Phenix City I know well. I went to high school across the river in Columbus, my best friend was from Seale and my parents still live in Fortson.

Right now I don't sail anything. Bought an old Pearson 422 that I had trucked to the woods near my home in FL and have spent the last three years fixing it up. Hoping to launch this winter. Then work another couple of years to pay my bills, build up the cruising kitty and take off for the wild blue yonder.
