Hello from Adelaide, South Australia
Hello all,
After reading Cruisers Forum posts for years I've finally decided to sign up.
I sail "Arriba", a Lightwave 38 cruising cat. I mostly sail my local waters of Gulf St Vincent, South Australia, but I also make regular trips to Kangaroo Island and occasionally further field.
Visitors to South Australia may be interested in my sailing notes:

Hello. YvetteandJohn here. We signed up today. We are in Adelaide as well. Sail a Hunter 270. Very new to sailing. Want to tackle going to KI or maybe just as far as Glenelg. We are still learning. Which Marina are you at?

Hi YvetteandJohn,
I'm a member of CYCSA (North Haven), but my cat "Arriba" is currently berthed at Wirrina Cove (aka Marina St Vincent).
KI has wonderful sailing. Just pick your weather and tides for crossing Backstairs Passage and you'll have a blast

Hello Scruzin, lovely to have you aboard and your timing is perfect. We are going to Kangaroo Island in January so Ian is busily poring over your Blog right now. We are in Warrnambool but keep our boat in Adelaide - hoping to relocate so that we can be closer to the boat.
Cheers, Girt

Welcome all,
Hope to see you on the water. I'm based at Glenelg on the Pat.
I'll be over at KI just after Christmas for a week or two.

Welcome aboard scruzin, we have a Lightwave 38 called Catlypso (previously Pieces of Eight) and are in Sydney. I have previously found your blog and read it all, thanks for doing it. If you sail up to Sydney anytime let us know.

Hi clownfishsydney, nice to "meet" another Lightwave owner and glad you like my blog. There's not too many of us in SA. I did spend some time on Arriba in Sydney 5 years ago, when I sailed down from Airlie Beach. Among other things I enjoyed a spectacular New Years Eve on the water. I look forward to sailing over to Sydney again one day.
