pirate Hello From a Sea Ray Owner

My name is Jamie and I'm new to the site. I have a 1984 sea ray sea dancer, does anyone have any kind of information on this type of boat and how many we're made?

Re: Hello

Aloha and welcome aboard!
I don't have the answers to your questions but maybe there will be others who reply soon.
I'm a sailboat guy but enjoyed a ride on a Sea Ray 19 out of Colona, IL 2 years ago. Fast and fun.
kind regards,

Re: Hello From a Sea Ray Owner

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, Jamie.

Personally, I don’t think that Sea Rays are worth the premium cost over (say) Bayliners.

Sea Ray uses vinlyester resins throughout with a lay-up of chopped strand glass (choppered, not hand laid), foam core and balsa core above the waterline.

Check out the hull-deck joint (they’re just screwed, sometimes with caulking, sometimes not)

Also check out the (so called) bulkheads.
