Hello from a Black Sea Sailor Currently in New York

Hello, fellow sailors,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a writer currently on traveling through Central and South America, but usually living in New York. I got on the water for the first time on the Black Sea, and have been trying to do it on every other sea I've encountered - even if not on a boat but on a surf board or with a snorkel.

I would love an opportunity to sail in the region. I have crewed up and down the intracoastal in the U.S., have some off-shore experience, and quite a bit of square-rig experience (Half Moon on the Hudson crew, anyone out there?)
