Hi all. I'm selling off land assets to live on a
boat and very happy about my future on the water!
I'm looking at
motor yachts, but don't know much at all. I hope to learn while property is on the market, and when I'm ready to buy my
boat, I'll be able to make an educated decision.
I will be cruising solo with my dog, and people around me have told me I can't solo a boat, that it is too hard to do alone. I plan to live on the lake in my boat to learn...then move to the coast to
live aboard and
cruise. Hopefully the lake
experience will prepare me a little for coastal. I have
experience with
engine rebuilds, built a top end small block myself in the past, but other than that,
learning a boat will be a fun challenge. I look forward to
learning a lot here.
