Just saying HI to everyone and introducing myself. I am Gennadi Fedorov. Born and raised in Russia (USSR back then) I lived in many countries and regions of the world, Canada and USA. Now I am settling down in Tampa Bay Area in Florida. Hoping to learn the ropes and one day (better sooner than later) buy my own sailboat. Another dream I have is to circumnavigate the globe at least once before I “kick my hooves”, so to speak...
Now I will try to find an appropriate forum topic where I could start looking for an experienced sailor in Tampa Bay Area, who would agree to show me the ropes and teach some skills. I guess, this shouldn’t be a tremendous problem in Tampa, eh?

For sure somebody on CF knows of a reputable sailing instructor/school in the Tampa area. Hang in there! It's my dream to solo circumnavigate upon retirement. 15 more years to go.
