I'm happy to have met you. My wife and I are avid cruisers, she's been enamoured with the lifestyle since I introduced her to it. We currently do not have a
single boat, having
lost both ours to Harvey, one
on the hard being restored (1969
Morgan cruising ketch) and the other, Providence (our then home), to thieving lowlifes (32' U.S. Yachts Buccaneer designed by Bill Gardner) following the marina cleanup. We also
lost my wife's restaurant and my
boat building and remodeling business.
Fortunately, bad times do not last forever, and we are slowly financially recovering! We have even reached the point that we are perusing the classifieds for a new
water home as we begin the preliminary stages of planning our next cruise!
I look forward to getting to know you better, and swapping stories and
advice. I've made a lot of stupid decisions that I was lucky to live through and learn from, and I'm happy to pass them on to anyone that is interested.
