Just wanted to say hello and thank you! Been a lurker on the board for awhile reading and learning. Been enjoying many post, thank you.
While myself and wife are a ways off from boat ownership we thought it would be best to start some early education and familiarization of the boat world.
With that said we are long overdue for a vacation, been almost 10 years since I've been able to get the family on a real vacation. So I know there is a ton of companies that you can charter a boat with along with a skipper and they all seem to have some great reviews, were not sure who to trust with this rare opportunity for a vacation with. Is there one that stands out that can be recommended? What I would really prefer is someone that does some charters on their own boat simply to make a living with for themselves or someone that needs a little extra cash to keep their own boat afloat....so to speak. LOL
We want to be in the south pacific somewhere preferably a destination that is reachable by flights, needing to find some very laid back owners/captains who are ok with a couple of adults and two young well behaved teenagers. I would prefer to be on a catamaran with enough room for everyone to be comfortable.
I know I've seen a few of these sorts of folks who offer this but I just can't seem to find them. Any help with this would be appreciated!!
