Hello Everyone

Well here we go...for many years I've dreamt of owning a yacht and cruising the world, now the dream in within my grasp! So I'm searching for a boat and would appreciate advice from all you experienced folk out there - keep an eye out for me in the specific forums! A bit about me - Australian, currently living and working in South Korea, an infrequent sailor who can sails when there is opportunity! Take care everryone and chat with you in the forums, cheers Daz.

ps if anyone is in Korea message me

Welcome to the bunch, Daz!

As to what boat: there are more topics on that then you can read in a lifetime And more opinions then there are actual sailors

If you click 'Search' in the menu, use the Google Search and not the Forum Search; the Google search will give you better results.

Re: Hello Everyone

Welcome here too... and Lizzy as usual is right! But give us some idea of what you are planning to do and what kind of boat/budget you have in mind so we can all start to thumb through our mental Rolodexes.

Thanks for your welcome Don...as for plans...a couple of years coastal sailing in Australia while gaining experience and preparing for water sailing">blue water sailing to ... well everywhere I hope! My thought is to look for a 35-40ft mono with budget of up to AUD100,000. Prefer cruising, live aboard space over speed, a proven blue water design that sails well single handed in all conditions. I welcome any advise Don, it would be great to have your help!
