Hello Everybody!!!!

I am new to the forum,but not new to boating.I have mated on charter fishing boats most of my life,off and on.I built my own flats skiff. I have been in the fiberglass repair business in fl. Right now i am stuck in Delaware.I came up from Fl. in july 2010,two weeks later my wife was diagnosed with cervical cancer.I came up to work on my uncle's boat,40' sportfish,and work for his sheetmetal co. I stayed because of my wife's ongoing medical treatment. The good news is i was able to save some good coin,while working myself to death,and taking care of my wife. I am looking for a decent diesel powered fiberglass boat to use as a cruiser and possible liveaboard. If anyone knows of a decent boat in the chesapeake bay area let me know. I am new to this board,and apologize if i erased anyone's greetings,without acknowledging it.I have cruised the east coast in my uncle's sportfish. I am just trying to catch a break and get back to the water. My budget is around 30k.I look forward to corresponding with you all, sincerely, HORACE WAHL

Why a power boat? Sailboats are cheaper to run, more relaxing to run, and are just cooler all round....!

I have only been sailing once,and it was a very strange experience.I have thought about it,but I can't get my wife into it.
