Hello - Colorado

Hello Cruisers & Sailing Forum Members,

We are John and Chris Pereira, both retired and currently in Broomfield, Colorado. We have been spending most of the summer, for the past 5 years, on board our 1980 Allied Princess Ketch in the waters of southern New England. Mostly coastal cruising in areas of Cape Cod, Buzzard's and Narragansett Bays.

We are planning to move Belmira south in May to a location in either Southern Georgia's Brunswick area or Northern Florida. We will then be spending winters, January through May in the waters off Florida and the islands and our summers in Colorado.

We will be heading east, in our land yacht, on Monday following the Superbowl, ("Go Pats!"), to check out what is available in those areas for off season storage and welcome any advice anyone in the forum may have as to places we should visit. I do most all of the repairs and mods needed in the restoration of our now 35 year old boat and would be particularly interested in hearing about boat yards and marinas that allow DIY in the north Florida, south Georgia area.
