pirate Hello All

New to the forum. I have been enjoying it for a few weeks now.

I look forward to joining in on the discussions. Been sailing for a while now but I am new to boat ownership. We were putting it off (kids and all) but we decided that if we don't do it now, we never will (2 kids going to college in a few years!!)

We are the proud owners of "Victim of Fate" a 1979 Catalina 30. She was in great shape when we bought her, just needed some brightwork and electronics upgrades.

We are berthed in Atlantic City, NJ (Farley State Marina at Trump Marina), C-72...feel free to stop in for a beverage or two...or three! We are usually there on weekends!

Smooth sailing!

Welcome to cruisersforum, Jack and Colleen.

I own a 1973 Catalina 27. And shes tied up in Moss Landing CA.

There are a couple of other owners of Catalina 30's and Catalina 27's on this forum.

One owner of a Catalina 30. Is CaptainJeff. And he's on the west coast. I'm sure you'll hear from him soon!!

Anyways... welcome aboard.:cubalibre

Aloha Jack and Colleen,
We have very little in common except for the love of "messing about in boats," however, welcome aboard. I've found this to be a great forum for opinion, fact, help and friendly sailors. Hope you find the same.
I used to own a fixed keel Catalina 22 back in '81 and loved her. Much different than your 30 I'm certain.
Kind Regards, --JohnL--
