The Geminis would be my first choice in a lower priced
multihull - avoid the brands made out of
plywood. Most people wouldn't think of a
Gemini as a trans ocean cruiser but they're fine for the
Caribbean or coastal cruising and you can usually find a decent one under 50k Us. If you get really serious, look at the South
African cats - well built but also more expensive. Most of your 40' and up cats will have 4 cabins to fit all those
kids.
