Hello all

I am totally new to sailing but not new to boating. I currently own a power boat but looking into buying a sailboat sometime this year. My wife and I both are going to take sailing lessons this summer. I can wait to read all the post here and learn as much as I can. Thanks and cheers!

Ben.

Welcome to CF Rogers! Dive right in, there's always lots of opinions (but then you probably already know that...)

Try starting out in a little boat like a Laser, they are a lot of fun and you 'll learn A LOT from it. Buy two of them and then race your wife around. You'll both have a blast and you'll both REALLY be into it and ready when the right bigger boat comes along... and you'll see that a bigger boat just uses the same skills you mastered on the little one... making horsepower out of carving the wind with a graceful arc of fabric!
