Hello everyone, I'm Diesel. I sailed as a kid and am looking to get to it again full time upon retirement in a few years. I'm an electrical contractor and engineer (with a small e) who occasionally waxes philosophical - but please excuse me when I do. I'm here to meet other like minds and learn, possibly also share when I can be of help......

Actually, Dies' Oceania is a big place. Sydney Orrstraylia. You probably think of here as "Downunder" .

Oceania (imho): A beautiful continent and surrounding islands that I have read about in books but have never seen in the flesh.... A deficiency that I someday hope to remedy.

The world is a huge place and If I live long enough I'd like to see many parts of it, And the Great Down-under is definitely on that list....
