Hello Again.
Howdy fellow skippers. I joined this site back in 2003, but have not posted much due to the fact that my 29 Cascade was on the hard in my back yard, and I figured that a lawn decoration skipper didn't belong here talking to real sailors. So now I have a clear conscience as the 29 is floating. After 22 years ! So I ask you to welcome " Galt's Gulch" instead of myself. A lot of repair, refurbishing, and renewal went into her hull, electrical system, and updating electronics. Tomorrow she'll back out of her slip in East Tawas, Michigan and be propelled by her sails across Tawas Bay and maybe into Lake Huron. Under sail after 22 years. Wish her well !

Welcome to the forum. You should not have been concerned with sharing while on the hard. It's part of the process of owning a boat. There are people here who do not have a boat and find time to share.

Good to have you out there on the water.
I should tell you how long my boat has been a yard ornament because you'll feel like a hero for getting yours done so quickly.
