Hi everyone, been lurking for a while so I thought I'd introduce myself. I live in Newcastle, Australia with my partner and 2 kids aged 4 and 7.

I did a little bit of sailing on a hobie cat on holidays a few years ago and have wanted to learn more ever since. I just enrolled in a competent crewing course which starts in a couple of weeks which I am really looking forward to.

At the end of the day I am just another hopeful trying to convince their family that a life of cruising is the way to go.

I'm sure I'll have lots of questions over the coming years as my plan to cruise away from normality comes to fruition.
