Hell-O Yawl

New to forum and new to sailing. I have made the Pacific North West my home for the last 12 years. Did a Stint of Commercial fishing in Alaska, recently decided to pursue sailing and aspire to own my very own (hopefully soon). I recently had an opportunity to quench my thirst and re-introduce my (sea-legs) on a delivery from Astoria, Or to Olympia, Wa.

Currently looking for crew opportunities, adventure, local sailing outings(Portland/Seattle) and all things nautical. Not deterred by winter, harsh conditions, or cold. This forum has provided a wealth of information regarding sailboats performance, build quality, maintenance and upkeep-to which I am extremely grateful.

Well, welcome to CF, Yawl. Enjoy the posts, believe who you will, and keep several grains of salt handy to season the advice given. Not a bad place to hang out while looking for that first yacht.
