Had Nice Lunch!

I suppose this is a meet & greet?

Met up with a felllow CFer visiting Singapore and had lunch at the Sailing club.

Always cool to put a face with a name and I learned a bit about resupplying ships at sea.

Of course the lunch and the totally crap thunderstorm this morning gave me one more excuse not to get on with my refit. But I can say I did go to the boat today even if only to show a CFer haw woeful she is on the hard waiting for me to get my thumb out -

Now I've committed to go sailing next time he's in town so I gotta put up or shut up - LOL...

Meeting CFers is a crap shoot. A bit like life. However my experiences have been really good. I met Kenomac and mrs Kenomac and Mr and Mrs Praire Chicken in Mallorca. LOVELY people.

Kenomac is a bundle of smiles and good stories, his wife is great. Praire Chicken is a professional aviator and her husband was in business.. really great people to spend time with.

I have one meeting that was not so good. It still made me laugh. Whack jobs do...

Get yer boat fixed ex cal......... people depend on it......

Yeah - I met MarkJ in Singers. Don't know who came out worse off. I made him sing Karaoke and Nicole noticed what a small winch handle I have. Well maybe compared to Mark's - LOL...

We did a moderator mash up in SFO a few years back. That was awesome and we even convinced a local CFer to take us all out on his 50 foot bendy plasti!

Got into a big sh!t fight about anchoring technique behind Angel Island. Had to call in for moderator back up - Almost had our lunch thread closed - LOL...
