Grteetings

Hello All,
Greetings to everyone at C&SF. So far very interesting reading, thanks for all the input. My son bought a Baba 35 in Panama and my wife and I are the crew. Currently we are on the second leg of the journey to Portland,OR from El Salvador. Does anyone have suggestions for ports of call along the Baja Penn. Having a hard time finding many. Thanks for any help. Mike

Re: Grteetings

Welcome to the forum. Perhaps a cruising guide for Mexico might be in order.

Re: Grteetings

Charlies Charts will help. You might pick up a used copy from someone as you pass through Mexico. There aren't many really good anchorages on the West coast. Mag bay, Turtle bay are good. There are others that suffer some swell, but provide minimal protection. My best mileage gained was to rise very early after the winds subside and motorsail like heck until they became too strong on the nose.... wow, he must have wanted THAT particular boat pretty bad!
