Greetings to fellow cruisers

Fellow cruisers/boaters,

I just signed up a few minutes ago and would like to greet you'll and introduce myself.

My name is Marciano Geerman from Aruba and we delivered a Tayana 55 last April to Aruba from Ft Lauderdale and it's my new home.

Have sailed between Florida and the Caribbean and Venezuela/Colombia/ Panama often, specially being part of a delivery team to Santa Martha/Cartagena Colombia and San Blas/Colon Panamá from Aruba.

Did crossed the Atlantic 21 years ago from Tenerife Canary Island to St Maarten in 19 days( drifted 2 1/2days in the douldrums). I loved it and caught several Mahi Mahi to feed the 4 of us.

We did bought the MK 38 1989 Irwin Morningstar in 2002 in Daytona Florida and sailed it with a team to Aruba and started the Morningstar private sailboat charters and did it for 6 years before heading back as a director of engineering at the Radisson hotel and the 900 room Aruba Marriott Surf Club.

Kat did continue chartering successfully until now with SV/Morningstar.

They say you can run but can't hide, I knew soon I would be back where I belong, on the Caribbean waters for now and serving our charter guest with a caring heart. When opportunity knocks a quick sail boat delivery south or north to keep my system in balance and I'm a happy man(fishing while sailing is very important, I love to cook for the team to keep the spirt high).

Greetings and hope to say Bon Bini (welcome in our local language Papiamento) to some of you when you arrive to our wonderful Island of Aruba heading south/north or on vacation. I may be able to assist with information about going south, the waters, ports etc.

Have a great week,

Marciano Geerman
