Greetings from Upstate NY

Long time lurker for years but figured since I just purchased a sailboat it's about time I made an account.

Been boating all my life on lakes in the Adirondacks but certainly new to sailing. Recently just closed on a 1985 Pearson 36.2 on Lake Champlain, just in time for it to sit in the snow for the next 6 months.

If anyone is familiar with Lake Champlain and cruising there, some nice spots and pointers, I am spending next year there and then hitting the canal south before the winter.

Welcome aboard CF -

That's what long cold winters are about, planning and dreaming. Lake Champlain is beautiful, you'll have a ball!
