Greetings from the UK

Just to introduce myself ton the other members out there - I've been lurking just below the waterline and browsing the posts for some time!

Me - I work as a pro delivery skipper based in the UK, mainly sailing between the UK and mainland Europe, the Med and sometimes transatlantic (Caribbean and Florida).

I look forward to being able to post here and, hopefully, being able to offer advice and guidance if I can.

Ed

Aloha Ed,
Welcome aboard! Sounds as if you have plenty of experiences to share with us. Lurking below the waterline? Crocodile?
Kind regards,
JohnL

Just once in each direction. First time to Fort Lauderdale from France, second to UK from Antigua.

Hope to have another this year, Eastbound.

Off tomorrow to bring a boat back from Bordeaux (France)to North Wales (that's the sticky out bit that overlooks Ireland)

Hi and welcome,

Its always nice to add a few more of us Brits to the forum. Have a safe and good trip to Wales...Then tell us about it...isn't it still a bit chilly there?
Best Regards

Alan

Just back from North Wales having picked up the boat in Royan near Bordeaux.

Winds mostly on the nose and very cold at night. Departed Royan on 18th and arrived Caernarfon on 24th - missed the tide for getting in so waited 6 hours for the next one......

Just waiting for the next one now

Hi Ed,

Welcome. If only I'd known about your trip (and you had enough room!). I live just North of Bordeaux (but Welsh) and am looking to build miles and experience. I fly out on May 4th to crew a yacht back from Antigua. If you need any helping hands in the future then give me a shout, I'm very flexible with timings.

All the best,

Daz.
